Looking forward to Dark Souls Remastered? Will the promise of an amiibo based on Solaire of Astora swing it? You bet it will!
Bandai Namco have today confirmed that when Dark Souls Remastered hits Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4 and PC come May 25th 2018, a rather delightful amiibo™ figure based on Solaire of Astora will also be released on the same day.
Hitting up this amiibo will see the popular “Praise the Sun” gesture able to be used with reckless abandon from the start of the game, rather than having to grind it out in order to receive the gesture through regular play. That should be a bit of a win for many a gamer.
And whilst the big news surrounds the amiibo, it’s also goodto know that those wishing to participate in a “network test” on Switch, Xbox One and PS4, allowing the opportunity to download and play a part of Dark Souls Remastered before the launch. More details about the network test will be revealed soon.
Dark Souls Remastered will be available on 25th May, 2018 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The special amiibo will also be available on the BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment official store.
